Working principle of turbine flowmeter When the measured fluid flows through the turbine flowmeter, the impeller rotates under force. At the same time, the blade periodically cuts the lines of magnetic force, and an electric pulse signal is induced in the coil. The frequency of the electric pulse signal is proportional to the flow rate of the fluid to be measured.
